What apps (iPhone & MacBook) would be important and useful for travel in Canada.  Heading for Tuktoyaktuk in a couple of weeks.  May or may not have cell (won't know until I get there).  Limited WIFI.

Weather alerts and warnings (similar to the US National Weather Service weather radio broadcasts?)

Weather forecasts

Road & traffic conditions

Forest fires

Other?

I have an inReach SE for reporting home and getting basic weather when needed, but not warnings unless queried ($).

Thanks, jim

Buy a small usb plug in GPS $30. Download MAP.me app. Then download all maps of provinces you travel to. You will always know where you are and it has a ton of services mapped as well. Camp grounds etc. free.

This might be of use.  Just now I'm getting some kind of rubbish about gc.ca (the Canada government website) being an insecure site from Firefox.  I think this is rubbish.
