I am painting my 07 Grandby Roof with Rustoleum   I get lichen growing up there because we are close to the ocean in the San Diego area.   Is there an additive to add to the paint to inhibit its growth.   Any tips would be appreciated.

The only paint I've ever heard of that inhibits growth is the anti-fouling paint boaters use on their hull.  Dunno if that would work on your roof or not.

Could you just spray the roof with a strong solution of chlorine bleach once a month or so?

Just thinking out loud . . .
