Edit: I just noticed you mounted the MPPT charger in your water cabinet. It’s probably a good idea to run a chassis safety ground given that location and the potential for water leakage.

If the controller case is metal, grounding it may help reduce the often reported RFI from many of these units. Finding a way to do that ground connection effectively is another matter.
