Worked very well in our 04 Hallmark Ute. Can't tell you how long it will run. We used our Yamaha 2000, but our preference is to only use it to cool down the camper and not leave it running when camped near others. Living in Tennessee, we are not always camped West and an AC unit is an essential in our opinion when adding altitude in not an option.

Thank you for your feedback, that's great news so far. Do you know how many BTU's your AC was? It's been very humid out here the last several summers. Not what we're accustomed to. Having an AC would open up more opportunities to get out, that's for sure!

If I remember correctly when we were talking about the possibility of adding an AC ( we ended up just having it pre-wired) is that they preferred a specific brand/size that would make using a generator easily possible.
Remember that the volume in a truck camper is rather small and something like this Coleman should be fine.
