Was cleaning up a bit and found this pic of my dad showing me where he used to work as young man. I've always intended to see this area but somehow never got around to it.

Great pic! You sure look like your Dad.  Perhaps even more now?

 

What area was he showing you with the map on the "field map table" (hood of the Jeep)?

Craig, I second Foy's question about the area on the map and I'm also curious the work that your Dad did. Father and son connections are so special.

As I recall it was somewhere in the Stanislaus NF. He did some survey work, blister rust control for a couple summers. Maybe I better break the map out and have him pinpoint again while he still can.
