Got back just last week from my first trip to Death Valley. The bloom was not really happening to much. The weather was way warmer than expected ( 95+). I saw several FWC's and an assortment of other pop ups. While at Wild Rose I saw my first up close look at a newer FWC Eagle model. I was impressed. The owner was kind enough to show me around and he took a look at my SMB. Even though I have much more room, the FWC looked to be quite capable of making a couple comfy. When I camped at Mesquite Spring there were three other Sportsmobiles along with mine. One day I was at 8200' above sea level and went to -280' in the same day. Camped up high in the pines, 7400' at Thorndike, where it froze at night. Down to the desert flats where it was cooking hot! Lots to see and do. Really thought the Charcoal Kilns were neat along with all the old mining operations. Here are a few photos...

Nice pics, There is allot to see in DV. Since DV is a little over 5 hours from where I live I plan to go often. Reading your report and seeing the photos makes me want to leave now. Damn you full time job!
