Well after a four month wait for my FWC I took it for a shake down cruise on the 4th of July weekend. Went to the eastern Sierras' at Rock Creek, had a great time hiking and relaxing.Good thing I took a short trip as a few things went wrong with the camper.
# 1 one of the roof latches broke.
# 2 the CO2 alarm would go off for no reason, this was at 7000'.
# 3 the heater filled the camper with smoke, though this was the first time it was used.
# 4 a cabinet door lock pulled out of the door.

I've already contacted FWC and they are going to fix everything, so I'm not to upset. The wife and I had a good time any way so it's not a big deal to me. In a way this is a good thing as now I have to go to Northern California for the repairs. Sounds like a good excuse for another road trip! Guess I'll just have to wander the west.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Mike. What do you mean about the roof latch? Did the metal latch break, or did it crack at the fiberglass where it attaches to the camper?

Are you going to have to go to their facility to get the repairs?

The latch handle or the part that locks/unlocks latch. this is mounted on the lower camper body with an aluminum bracket. There are pins that fit into the bracket and one of the pins sheared clean off. I don't know how this happened, but when I arrived at the camp ground I found the damaged latch.
I've already made an appointment with the FWC factory in Woodland for repairs. They say it will be no problem to fix and I should be out and on the way to Colorado buy noon. So far FWC has been responding in a positive manner so I would still buy another one.

I did pick it up at the factory, back in May. It is easier to go to Woodland than deal with the traffic in Riverside.
