Hi all;
kcowyo told me about this site (we know each other from www.expeditonportal.com) and I thought I would say hello. I have a 2003 F350 with a 2004 Hawk shell model with custom interior. The truck and camper are collectively called OutbacKamper and you can see more info about me at the following sites:

www.expeditioncampers.com
www.expeditionportal.com

My family and I just completed a 9 1/2 month expedition to Australia in the OutbacKamper. I am not sure when I will have time for another trip because I am busy building our new house. In the mean time I will enjoy hearing about other peoples experiences.
Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the board! I've checked out those sites before - some good stuff over there. Are you based in the US? Did you ship your truck over there for the trip?

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the board!

Thanks DD!

Are you based in the US?

No, Kelowna, BC. Maybe a 3 hour drive north of Spokane,WA

Did you ship your truck over there for the trip?

Yes. It was shipped in a 40 foot long, 9'6" high container (called a high cube). There is a nice couple, still in Australia, who shipped their jeep from California to do a similar trip. We met up with them in Canberra in Feb/06:

They have a big website with lots of info and pictures

Glad you made it Mark!

I want to put up a couple of trip threads here. I'll try to get on that this week.
