John, I'm interested in that "Squiggly Thing" have a pic and maybe source?

I'll take a picture when I get home, but coming up with the Mfg. after 5 years might not be so easy.

Howdy from Jackson Hole! Here's what worked for me...

Stainless steel Hose Barb 3/8" barb X 1/2" male

1/2" female threaded hose bibb with nail flange, 1/4 turn Holes fit perfectly replacing the crappy old plastic valve.

10 X 1" stainless steel sheet metal screws, pan head. "Pan head" means the head is flat on the bottom, not angled for wood.

(I replaced factory screws with SS).

Teflon plumber's tape

Small tube of white caulk

Nitrile gloves

Masking tape & vinegar (to mask around valve & professionally clean up glop)

Paper towels

Ratchet screw driver with variety of fittings

2 trusty vice grips

Heat gun or hair dryer (crucial for softening up hose plastic getting stuff in & out)

On my beloved Fleet, the flange around the valve rested partly on a trim piece. I could have remved it & simply stuffed caulk into the hole, but instead used a grinder to brind down diameter of a screw head (for a professional look).

I now have brass fittings on both the outside sink drain, & water tank drain. For the life of me, I don't know why FWC doesn't send'em out this way from the factory, other than clean "looks" when new.

Happy Trails!

The lever part of the small petcock drain valve for the fresh water tank on our '04 Hawk snapped off. I have temporarily carved a piece of wood to slip over what is left and operate the valve, but would like to replace or upgrade the original. The unit is simple to unscrew from the frame of the camper but I have not been able to find a replacement on theI internet. Anyone know of a source for these?

I put a ball valve on the inside as well in case of failure, or tampering,

Picked up the parts MountainSufi listed in post #42.  LINK

30 minutes.  Use a heat gun.  Even a good hair dryer will work.  You will need it to remove the existing part.

There is not much slack in the existing line but you can pull it out about an inch to do this.

If anybody is wondering, that cable is for my back up camera mounted top center above the rear door.  I have a disconnect under the truck if I remove the camper.
