I found this thread while looking for info on a replacement drain petcock for my 2010 Hawk.  The part number on the back of the broken drain petcock is 18-0959.  That number corresponds to the Peterson Molding 3/8 white petcock that was mentioned in earlier threads.  The broken petcock  appears to have 3/8 tubing attached to it.  I ordered the 3/8 petcock and will report back if it is the wrong size.

I just replace mine with a $4 valve from Camco.  This one is both 3/8" and 1/2".  The 3/8" is the portion that I used.  If yours is 1/2" just cut off the 3/8" portion.

Very simple to install within 5 minutes.  2 screws and a hose clamp.  Just have some plumbers putty on hand to replace the old stuff.

I replaced with a STD 3/8 90° added cut to length 1/2" tubing exiting to back of my Eagle with a shut off valve,
Doubles as drain and exterior water source.

Thanks again to those that printed the links... I have my new sleek drain valve/flange  installed and will keep the plastic as a backup I'll never need.

The way we use our camper (cooking outside) I am thinking I want a nicer valve back there, and one I can pressurize with the pump.  Another project for this winter!

Does anyone know of a ceramic disc version of an outdoor faucet that would work?

Another idea, if you have an outside shower there are attachments. I have a squiggly thing that plugs in that I can bend or have straight. We only touch the fresh water spigot to drain the tank.

I think this would be a great project.  Very seldom do we use the sink (other than as a temperary trash can )  We use the drain valve all the time for filling water bottles, pots of water etc.  It is a tad slow.  It would also be nice to flush the water system faster or drain after a trip if you want to reduce weight.
