We are planning on selling our 2012 Hawk and this was exactly my question. How to safely transfer the title and receive payment? Has anybody used Venmo or PayPal with success?

Hello Tinkersdam, have you already sold your 2012 Hawk? I assume so, since your post was from July. I'm new to the site and just seeing it now. That is what I am looking for.
Thanks, Kyle

Hello, I'm new to the site here. I've been looking somewhat passively for a solid FWC Hawk for the past six months, using Craigslist alerts in a few areas in a circle from my location (Joseph, NE Oregon). This guide is great, thanks to all for the content. After reading it, I'm definitely thinking the Craigslist alerts are not cutting it. Craiglook seemed to be a great way to get a jump on the postings, but as noted in this thread, it has been down for years. A web search of Craiglook, brings up Claz.org, but I can't tell if that is searching all of Craigslist.
What is the latest/recommended Craiglook equivalent, if any?
Any help would be much appreciated! As well as any leads on Hawks for sale (and I'll keep monitoring the Gear Exchange and Used Pop Up Camper Alert fora as well)
Many thanks,
Kyle

Kyle, try SearchTempest. Also, let Stan Kennedy know you’re looking. He’s with FWC, and they occasionally post a used camper for someone buying a new unit.

Great, thanks for the tip! I’ve set up searches within a 1,000 mile radius of NE Oregon. The site is pretty easy to use, but I haven’t figured out the alert piece yet. The site creates a Opml file which you then import into an RSS feed reader. I tried this in Feedly and Onoreader, but it errors out. It’s a bit out over my skis.
In Craigslist, I noticed a search entry for miles from a zip code. Do folks have experience with that? I’m not sure if it works though, as it didn’t pick up that recent Kalispell Hawk, but the same key word search on the Kalispell site brought it up just fine. Not sure what is up with that, but it doesn’t give me confidence in the radius search.
Thanks, Kyle

Oh yea, thanks for the tip on connecting with Stan Kennedy as well. Did you mean via this site? Or the FWC CA location?
Thank you, Kyle

Send him a PM via WTW, or an email to FWC. Either should work.
