Here is a check list I made up after driving several miles at highway speed with the camper top folded down but not secured (luckily no damage):
OutbacKamper Pop-up camper checklist:
Prior to driving away:
1) Interior:
∑ Close all windows (interior)
∑ Close roof vents
∑ Attach internal window bungeee cords (stored in upper right, rear, cabinet)
∑ Turn of pump, heater fan, lights and inverter
∑ Check fridge/freezer
2) Exterior:
∑ Store awning
∑ Close all windows (exterior)
∑ Check roof for snow and remove
3) Interior:
∑ Lower front roof
∑ Lower rear roof and lock
4) Exterior:
∑ Secure 6 roof latches
∑ Close and lock:Side doors (water and shower)
∑ Close and lock:Camper door
∑ Close and lock:Cargo carrier
5) Final check:
∑ Roof latches locked
∑ No gear left at site
∑ All external gear secure

Good thread Mark.
I often forget to shut off the propane at the valve before I leave camp.
I also like to let a little air in when driving on pavement all day. I leave the sliding front window open a little and the roll open window a little too. When on dirt all day, I keep everything sealed up tight.
