On our AK trip ...off the McCarthy Road.... a bad place to leave the camper (not mine)
We were at those fish wheels the first week of June and they were WAY back from the water. I went down to the river and talked to a local guide who was staying in his van along the river. He told me that river turns into a "real beast" in the summer. I guess he was right!!
