JD...the door handle fits behind the bracket to hold the door open....

Don't let your door fly open in a wind....it will clip the bottom of that bracket off...and guess what???

They don't make them anymore, you've heard of the proverbial hens teeth :rolleyes:

I just found a replacement for my broken one the other day
