There seem to be so many now in the Tahoe area. If you are ever in Markleeville and happen to see me give a honk and a wave!Maybe a record, outside of some sort of sponsored event?
We just returned from a quick weekend trip down the east side of the Sierra Nevada on 395 between Gardnerville and Bishop. We counted sixteen FWC's of all sorts. The ones that stood out were these - the silver bullet edition popped up in the Buttermilks climbing area parking and number 15 that pulled in a couple spaces away in Smith's parking lot in Gardnerville today as we loading groceries for home into the camper. I wanted to walk over and say hi, nice camper, that sort of thing, but the anti California stickers on the camper made me afraid to do so. Number 16 was a big flatbed unit traveling north over Luther Pass early afternoon today.

Are you aware of the woman who went missing down there shortly after you were there? She was found alive and stated that a man chased her away from Grandview with a knife. Strange story.

Not a sighting but thought I'd mention. I just finished an East Coast trip that included camping there and back along with doing the Mid Atlantic Back road Discovery Route. I was kind of dismayed at the lack of vehicles setup for primitive or dispersed camping. I saw no other FWC's, a few BIG slideins on duallys and a couple teardrops. I am used to seeing a lot more here in TX and of course more out West. I know East Coasters get out dispersed but apparently not as much as out west?
