When I picked up my camper, I had to drive several hours over a big mountain pass in the Winter to get to the pickup point. I wanted to leave my tailgate on so that I could use sandbags in anticipation of bad weather. Barbara at FWC insisted that I must remove the tailgate and that it WOULD NOT fit in the camper if I removed it at the point of pickup and installation.
Well, it's just not true. Even my larger than usual F150 tailgate fits just fine inside the camper. This isn't big news or anything, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else finds themselves in a similiar situation.
Putting the tailgate in the camper....
