Ok, I'm going to replace my electrode in my furnace (and will probably replace limit switch, sail switch, etc. too) but I'm not sure how to get to the electrode as it's behind the gas regulator.  Do I take that off to get back there?  I don't see any other way.

Anyone done this?  Any pictures, suggestions, comments?

Thanks,

Kevin

Ok, I can answer my own question now.  I was going to pull the gas regulator as the electrode is behind it.  You can see 2 sheet metal screws behind the regulator and there is just enough space to get a screw driver in there.  Once the 2 screws are removed, you angle the electrode this way and that way, up and down, around to the right and left and you can get it out.  Mine had some chips on the insulation and hope that the replacement (coming tomorrow) will solve my problems where the furnance lights for a few seconds, then no heat.  I'm also going to replace the sail switch, etc. if I can get to them easily.
