ntsqd, Need to have Lighthawk or Ski3pin join in and say if you can pull the trailer up to the aspens.  I have been to Bodie but not up the road passed it to the aspens.  NorCalHawk is also going up next weekend and will be there on Friday. I am going up Saturday morning. We plan on driving up to the aspens and find a spot. We will be in the Bodie Parking lot for dinner.  2005 silver Toyota Tundra and 2013 Hawk. Stop by and say hello, if everyone is going up to the aspens after 10:00 we can caravan up together.

Anyone else going to Bodie this weekend?

Just saying "trailer" probably conjured up visions of a 36' Airstream or something. :)  I tend to forget that this thing is not well known because there aren't very many of them. This is the trailer,it's tiny. Pretty sure that it'll go anywhere the truck can (though turning it around might take some muscle):

Late yesterday my wife scored a cancellation at Virginia Creek campground. My step-son isn't really a camper so this will make him a bit more comfortable. Likely leave the trailer at the camp ground. Our plan has also been to eat dinner in the parking lot. Wonder if they'll object to our using the vehicle mounted propane bbq? Couldn't find anything at all on the web page.

I would think a bbq would not be a problem.  We will see you in the parking lot.

I'd have a backup plan. Those rangers can be pretty strict. Have fun.
