I spent 5 weeks in the canyon country of SE Utah last spring. Thought someone might enjoy seeing a small selection of the 1,800 or so pics that I took during my trip. Besides the thumbnails in this trip report there are a couple of dozen or so pics in the 'Members Gallery' section. Not sure how to link you to that area of this site. These pics are all from day hikes that varied between a few hundred yards and over 20 miles in one day. The ghostly or ET like pictographs are of the Barrier Canyon style that date to 6,000 years ago or more. Many of the ledge ruins involved some scary climbing... for an old guy.....Most of the time I was the only one out there. I hope you enjoy something a little different than most people see out there.

If you look at pic with the ruin, then look to the center of that photograph... I actually made it out to that ruin on the ledge far out to the center of the pic... it was a bit scary out there.... but very cool spot
