Spot Comments:
Make sure you bring layers on this hike. Towards the summit, the mountain is well exposed and it can be quite windy. And like most mountain hikes, watch for afternoon thunderstorms that can roll in- you don't want to be stuck up here when those come in (personal experience )
This nine-mile roundtrip hike with about 2800 ft of elevation gain is one of the most popular in RMNP. Bring water, extra clothes and a snack. Get to the top and down before the T-storms build up.
