The Ahwahnee is a fantastic example of the grand lodges that were built in the National Parks during the 1920's. The fireplace here is so large it has seats built into the sides. We like to come her on a cold winter night and have a drink sitting by the fire.
The Ahwahnee is one of the classic great lodges of the National Park System. Hike or bike around the flat trails and roads in the valley and then drop in to the Ahwahnee for a brew. Or, hit the restaurant on Sunday for brunch, but don't forget your tie.
