Getting There

The Mattole Beach Campground is located at the north end of the King Range on the beach. From U.S. 101, take the Garberville, South Fork/Honeydew, or Ferndale exits. Follow signs toward Petrolia, turn on Lighthouse Road to the ocean.

This is a remote and amazing campground directly adjacent to rare coastal wilderness. Well worth a visit. Very remote - come prepared - the trek out to the closest store is very long.
