Mosaic Canyon

Spot Comments:

  • A beautiful hike through a marble canyon. This is one of the best bang for your buck hikes in the park. Easy to get to and you are right into the beautiful canyon as soon as you leave the parking lot!

It was a highlight of our trip.

  • Mosaic Canyon is a very special canyon hike. The lower section is incredibly smooth marble with breathtaking narrows. If you are eager for adventure, don't stop there. It only gets more interesting as you continue. But be cautious and go prepared. It gets rugged and calls for careful travel. This is a canyon where you can spend an hour or two and it is well worth it. Or you can spend a day and just want to keep coming back for more!

  • Awesome canyon hike. Absolutely beautiful. We went on a super hot day and during the hot part of the day at that. It's just how things work out sometimes! It's awesome though because those rocks sure to keep you cool. You'll go through a stretch of super sun hotness and then get right into the shade where the rocks are freezing. You can lean up against one and be completely cooled off. It was beautiful. Lots of maneuvering and a little bit of climbing. I didn't go all the way through but I'd like to go back and do it again. Mosaic Canyon it a must!
