Getting There

To get to the Lost Horse Mine/Mountain trailhead, take the Park Boulevard/Loop Road to Salton View Road. Continue on Salton past Juniper Flats Road. At the next fork, go left (towards the east). The trailhead is located at the end of this road.

While there is some interesting history here - the burned landscape really takes away from the aesthetic enjoyment of this trail. I probably would not repeat.

Lost Horse mine is a four-mile round trip from the end of the dirt road. Unless you haven't seen mine ruins before, there is nothing special.
