Alpine Visitor Center

Spot Comments:

  • In peak season it, is bumper to bumper on highway 34 (Trail Ridge Road) getting to the Alpine Visitors' Center.  Granted, you are at 11,800 ft but is this traffic jam the reason you visit the National Parks?  I don't think so!

Come in spring, come in fall, but not in summer!  Better yet, leave the car, put on a pack on your back and hit the foot trails. RMNP has plenty of 'em.
