The long, rough road through the Waterpocket Fold to Bullfrog is eye candy. Check with the rangers at Capital Reefs about local conditions because wet weather can make the drive impossible.

At Bullfrog, take the ferry across Lake Powell or head north on pavement toward Hanksville.

This is an easy but scenic drive at Capitol Reef. The Burr Trail road intersects Notom road and is a must-do drive.
