The Barnhouse Campground and Trailhead are located about 5 miles south of U.S. Hwy. 26, off F.S. Rd. 12, near northern forest boundary. From Prineville via Paulina approx. 92 miles (2¼ hours), via Mitchell approx. 65 miles (1½ hours).
