Belmont Nevada is a still living "ghost town" in central Nevada. The Belmont Campground is on the south side of town but dispersed camping is available on the nearby National Forest or BLM lands. The old Nye County courthouse and the ruins of the large Belmont Mill are focal points for visiting. Many may enjoy a stop at Dirty Dick's Saloon.

Over the years Belmont has become less and less of a ghost town as more people have moved into the area. By all means visit the courthouse and the huge ruined mill.

A fantastic old mining town in a fantastic area. Plan on spending a couple days in this area - there is a lot to see!
