This is our favorite campground on Highway 108 east of Sonora Pass. It is small and quiet among the jefferies, aspens, and junipers. It is right along the West Walker River as it leaves the beautiful Leavitt Meadows. The trailhead for hiking into both the Hoover and Emigrant Wildernesses to the south is right here also.
