Getting There 
To access McGee Creek Campground from Mammoth Lakes go south on US 395 for approximately 8 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left. Or, from Bishop go north on US 395 for about 37 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left.
