Getting There

Trumbull Lake Campground is located near Bridgeport. From Bridgeport travel approximately 12 miles on Highway 395, turn right at Conway Summit on Virginia Lakes Road. Go approximately six miles on Virginia Lakes Road, the campground is on right hand side of road.

Trumbull Lake Campground is the only campground in the Virginia Lakes area. It is fairly large with 45 sites and sits between Virginia Lake and Trumbull Lake. There are dispersed camping sites a little down canyon along Virginia Creek. There is a trailhead for the Hoover Wilderness here along with a Pack Station.
