Spot Comments:

  • This campground is not much more than a gravel parking lot. There is a gas station with a small store attached for supplies. For a fee, you can get a shower across the street at the village.

  • Agree with Ted. Not worth much more than a late night stop and flop or possible overnight staging for a drive up Marble Canyon nearby.

  • Great spot for The City Slicker crowd,   But I think most wanderers would agree that this aint no place for our type of crowd.  :)

  • The "last chance" campground - only camp here if you must. However, this is great place to fuel up as gas here can be a dollar less per gallon compared to Furnace Creek.

  • We popped in here and right back out and headed for Panamint Springs resort. I'd say this one is the worst campground in the park. The gas is cheaper and we grabbed a few postcards though :D

  • I've camped here once or twice when I've needed to, plus you can grab a shower and gas as well.
