Of the established camping in Death Valley Panamint Springs resort is one of the nicer ones. It has vegetation, fire pits and an amazing view of the Panamint range. The Sunsets are unparalleled and it makes a great stopping point on your way in or out of the park.
Over the last 30 years this private resort, that is now inside the DV park, has been closed as much as it has been open. When open, Panamint Springs Resort has always been a great spot for dining, camping, showering, gassing up (pricy!!), and filling the beer cooler.
