Getting There

To access Big Meadows Campground from South Fork, Colorado, travel west on U.S. Highway 160 8.0 miles to Forest Road # 410. Take FR # 410 west for 1.4 miles to "Y" intersection (Forest Rd. 410). Bear left onto Rd. 410 and go 0.4 miles into campground.

Pretty place that can be a little crowded mid-summer. Decent hiking access to the Weminuche Wilderness. OK fishing for stockers in the reservoir.
