2016 Fall WY/CA/AZ/NM Trip, Gran Quivira at Salinas Pueblo Missions NM, New Mexico. Excavated pueblo ruins are in the foreground and the 17th century Spanish Mission church is in the back. An unusual pueblo because the building material is local limestone instead of the classic sandstone or clay/mud brick. Gran Quivira is the most excavated of the three large units of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.
