REALLY nice pic! Where is this?
Thanks, Durango. The Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument is southeast of Albuquerque in New Mexico's desert east of the Rio Grande. There are ruins of three massive, 17th C. Spanish Mission Churches and the associated pueblos.
Nice! Gotta put this one on the "to do" list. Thanks for the info.
Visit the Pacos Pueblo east of Santa Fe, too.
Stew, nice job with this photo of what looks like a really interesting place!
Thank you, 3pin. The Indian and Spanish history in the area is very interesting.
