There were other interesting trip and expedition vehicles in the parking area here. Some shipped from Europe and driven cross-country.

Yup, new last summer and parts were still under construction including the solar PV array for supplemental energy.
It still had that "new" smell inside. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
We were at Tombstone in 2007 and the visitor center was a trailer. But it is a great place to camp on the way to Inuvik and the Dempster is one of North America's great drives.
