Looking west toward the Steens -- snowy upper 1000' hidden by clouds. It was windy -- gusts up to 35mph -- while trying to hand-hold shoot this. Thank God (aka Nikon) for VR (vibration reduction) lenses!
Mark, is Steens' summit above you in the clouds or another peak? Thanks for the photo!
Stew -- Yeah, Steens summit is up there in the clouds, a little to the right of my rig. Technically you couldn't quite see the absolute summit even if the clouds were gone 'cause it's back just a bit from the edge from this angle.
