Thinking of adding a ladder to the equipment list, I want to be able to access surfboards and other roof items without lowering the roof. If you carry a ladder, what type/brand ladder is it, + and -, height, cost,  of your ladder. I'm primarily interested in the telescopic type.

I just bought a 12.5ft tall one.  haven't used it but looking forward to taking it in the snow to help me scrape snow off the top.  I think 10ft might be perfect but didn't see one when on amazon

Where do you store the ladder? Seems kind of bulky but convenient.

Behind the back seat. I am incapable of picking up hitch hikers :)

I welded this up. Bolts into jack brackets with wing nut for quick attachment. Can access the roof rack pretty good and compact enough to stow away easy.

I also keep mine in the back seat and yes it is bulky.   I pretty much see a ladder as mandatory.  If I get snow on top of my camper I need to get that weight off before I try to lower the top.

WRT surfboards I aways take the surfboards off before I put the roof up.  But even still I need a ladder for that.
