I need to replace the rear lift struts on my 2017 Fleet and I think they are the 20 lb struts because the camper came without anything on the roof -no rack, solar etc.

Does anyone know the Suspa part number?

They are leaking oil which I believe there is a small abount for lubrication. They still work but the oil makes a mess. They provide the right amount of lift so I dont need to upgrade to stronger ones.

The part number was printed on the struts and may still be visible.

thanks, but the grandby is much larger than my fleet so the length most likely would not be correct.

BTW, and for others interested, Supra is out of stock on the 20# struts(C16-31895A)

and FWC says they no longer offer the 20# but do have the 30# in stock which is what they recommended and are using on new Fleet model so that is what I plan to get.

Fyi there are a lot of on line sellers of Suspa struts. Do a search by part number. Others may have the 20 lb part in stock. Less warranty coverage but about half the Suspa site price for mine.

The 30# might be best way to go because I added a solar panel and while I can manage to push up the roof it requires a stronger push.

BTW, my struts still work, but the two rear ones are leaking a bit of brown oil and that is why I am  replacing -is the oil just a lubricant?

I’m not familiar with the design of the struts, but they are described as gas struts. It may be just lubricant but I don’t know. I think Suspa has a customer service line that might be able to tell you.
