We have a Fleet which we have filled with water over ten times.  We are filling it after our winter and it will not allow us to fill the tank.  Water keeps gushing out of the little wire filter between the two fill spots.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Thanks

The wire filter next to the pump?  Is it cracked?  Tightly screwed on?

That is the tank vent.  It sounds like there is an obstruction. Is there a valve setting  that could be the issue?

How many gallons of water have you put in before it flows out of the vent.at the filler?

Have you drained the water out to empty and started over and measure how much you put in?

Implied and I agree, that perhaps the tank is full and hence the overflow is what you are seeing...unless there is an ice plug, not sure what else could obstruct that 'closed' system...FYI, we open both faucet valves when filling....
