I will add one gripe:
The camper carries 22 gallons of water but there's quite poor access to the liquid. The sink pump drains battery and cannot fill a large container in the sink. The outlet on the rear of the Grandby when opened full drains maybe 1/2 gallon a minute. !! 

 

Wow, that doesn't sound right.   The pump should not drain the battery filling a 'large' container.    Is the battery in good shape and fully charged?  Do you have solar or charging from the truck?  

 

I am not sure what the issue is, but you should be able to use the pump extensively, along with lights and other devices for at least a day or so without running your battery down.

My 2014 F-150 , Supercab, 8ft bed , 5.4L , with payload pkg, hauls the loaded 2014 Grandby just fine - including some steep, rough  4-wheeling  tracks as well as coast to coast hwy travel. 

My FWC dealer actually advised against a 3/4 ton truck because of poorer gas mileage. I put my new Grandby on a Ford F150 ext cab 8 foot box 5.4 liter V8 tow package. Truck came with E series tires. I put two load bearing shocks on the back (the kind with the springs). No noticeable sag with fully loaded camper - no need for air bags. Looks & rides great. 5.4 liter motor has plenty of power. Tow package is definitely advised.

I posted the above in april and got ZERO  replies. Is every 4WD owner OK with 1/2 gal. per min?  I carry a 6 gallon jug full just to have ready access to a better quantity of water. It seems like there should be a way to get more of the 22 gallons out quicker, say 2-3 gallons a min.??

The  fawcett is above the sink where there isn't room to fill a large container. That is the main issue. 

The flow rate from the rear drain sounds about right but not from the pump. Check the valves in the plumbing. If the winterization valve is set wrong, the water from the pump may be diverted back to the tank instead of to the faucet. When you turn on the pump with the faucet closed, does it run for a few seconds & stop or does it run continuously?

Thanks for the reply. But my problem isn't with the faucet & pump. It works fine. We usually cook outside the camper and the sink faucet is so confined that it doesn't allow for filling a large container to use outside. 

Possible solution?  See photo of pull out faucet in this camper.

Thanx Paul. That pull out  may be the best solution. I  would prefer gravity  in a larger hose to the outside of the camper but your suggestion is a plan B workaround for me.

For outside cooking, I bring along a big jug/cooler filled with water (sometimes ice).  I have various sizes ( from years as a scout leader), including a new one with wheels to tote to a spigot.
