Anyone here paddled a Next? I would appreciate your thoughts, stability, tracking, etc. Wife and I have been looking at Kayaks but the Next caught my eye last week. We still have an older Grumman(1973) but would like something lighter and single seat(read shorter) since it will be carried on the Hawk roof.

Sorry I don't have any first hand experience with them but was just checking them out - neat model and at 59lbs looks like a great cross between kayak and canoe. If I didn't already have my kayak quota I'd be down checking them out for sure.
