I just received my November issue of Outdoor Photographer. It has a couple of articles that might be interesting to WTW photographers. There are two articles on night photography, and one on Eastern Sierra hotspots.

The new issue of Nature's Best Photography arrived today! I wish they published more than semi annually.

Maybe they're not getting enough photos for more frequent issues. You and other excellent WTW photographers better submit more photos for publication.

We should get ours within the next few days. I did enter the Natures Best Winland Smith Rice photo contest this year and had two images make it into the second round of judging. But did not make the finals.

You were up against some of the best in the world in that competition, making it into the second round is impressive! Could you share the photos? I'd love to see them...

I guess there were around 20,000 images. My gal also made it to the semi-finals.  Got different construction crews here at the house I'm keeping tabs on, but here is a quick thumbnail to get you something to look at.

No on NAMPA. A great organization, I'm not sure why I haven't joined.
