Thought I would post these links for customers looking for more helpful tips & tricks on how to use their camper.

One comment Stan,

Matt refers several times to the CO2 / Carbon Monoxide detector. CO2 is Carbon DIoxide, not Carbon MONoxide.

Both gases are by-products of combustion.

400 ppm (.04%) of CO2 is the normal level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

400 ppm (.04%) of CO will kill you in less than an hour.

While household CO2 detectors are available, they are not common. I have both CO and CO2 detectors in my house.

The CO level is normally  <1 ppm.

The CO2 level varies quite a bit, between 400 ppm with windows open and upwards of 2000 ppm overnight with windows closed. Most of the time it sits around 1000 ppm. Someday, I'll add heat recycling ventilation to fix this, but it not very high on my priority list. It is more of a stale air / odor issue than of a health concern.
