I look forward to the pics.
I'm surprised your payload number is so low on the 8' box regular cab.
I guess you need the payload package for the 3000# + payload.
I plan on getting the regular short box for my Hawk if my GMC dies, given GMC doesn't make one any longer.
BTW, Nice shop and driveway.

Thanks for the info.
I pickup my 2016 F150, FX4 supercab on Saturday and begin similar mods. I'm not getting my Hawk shell until 10/21/19. I had the BFG T/O KO tires on my Ranger and loved them. Will probably add them to the F150.
I'm curious as to why you are using the bicycle pump instead of a free standing 12v compressor.
I carry a compressor to air up tires after airing down, so was planning on using that for the airbags, I didn't have airbags on the Ranger, had custom spring pack, but will start with airbags on F150.
Nice looking Truck
2016 F150, FX4, XLT super cab
2019 FWC Hawk Shell
2009 Ford Ranger 4x4, XLT, Supercab total loss on 7/30/19
2014 FWC Shell total loss on 7/30/19
Towed behind our home which is a 2005 Kountry Star Diesel Pusher

Mainly for simplicity and storage. I won’t be changing tire pressure that much, but may purchase a 12v in the future.

Nice Truck, I don't think I've seen a F150 regular cab 8'bed for a long time.....and its not white.
It looks like you've found out that the weight sounds good.....until you add all the stuff.
For me I really like my extended cab and I couldn't fit both dogs into a regular cab.
It is interesting the Hellwig bags mount to the inside of the axle. On my 2011 the firestone mount is over the leaf spring.
Good luck, have fun

My next truck will be a extended cab / 8’ and probably a F-250. That’s down the road in a couple of years. Thanks for the well wishes.Nice Truck, I don't think I've seen a F150 regular cab 8'bed for a long time.....and its not white.
