I haven't driven it in about a year. It needs some TLC, but I did a frame up restoration on it. I took the camper down to the frame and made all new sheet metal. New insulation and new plywood inside. The interior of the camper and the cab of the truck aren't finished. Let me know your interest level and I'll get some better, more recent pics to you.

Im definitely interested but Im a little concerned that the picture you posted is literally named "blazer in flood" and it's parked in a flooded area hahaha. Has the thing been flooded and thats why it hasn't run for the last year? Please post as many pictures as you can. Preferably current conditions if you can take some.

Will get current pictures after work today.  That is as high as the water got.  I have two other trucks.  My daily is a 01 Dodge work truck and an 00 Durango. The Blazer just isn't practical here.  I built it to circumnavigate the US back in 2010 when gas was $2 a gallon. By the time I was done with it gas jumped to more than $4. I never got to do the trip.

Sorry you never got to do the trip! I will gladly take it on some trips for you! This would be my 4th Four Wheel Camper remodel and plan to do it with my girlfriend who is an interior designer so we can go on adventures together.

Has it always been in San Fran? Since you did a frame-up Im guessing its relatively rust free?

I was living in Albuquerque NM when I built it.  I moved out here in Nov. of 2011, and drove it for a few years as my work truck.  I needed a pickup for work and let my Uncle drive it for a few years. I have gone back and forth on getting rid of it.  I know I'll never get what I have in it but I don't want to give it away either. It does have a small rust spot behind the rear tire.  I used cheap paint and it hasn't held up well. The only thing that I didn't fix was the canvas on the pop-up.

Looks like it definitely needs some fixes. Does it run and drive? Can you send underbody, engine bay pictures and camper interior/popped up pictures? Its really hard to judge things on the internet and since youre 800 miles away I cant just pop over to look! Lastly, what are you looking to get for it? Feel free to PM me if you dont want to post a number.

It does have some issues. I was getting ready to put it in long term storage at a friends house. I didn't want to put and time and money into it. It does idle and rev in park, but for some reason it doesn't run well in gear. I think it's either vacuum issues or fuel pressure.

A few months ago my neighbor offered me $5,000 for it as is, but hasn't come up with the money. He saw me working on it and I told him I had a guy in Phoenix interested in it, and he asked me to hold off till Easter. So I am going to get it cleaned up and hopefully get it running well. I will post pics and updates as I make progress. If he doesn't come through and you are still looking at the end of May we will talk then.

Mike

I'll give you $5000 for it as is and send a truck to pick it up. Let me know when you're ready.
