Jay,
Go to the Gallery, then click on "Members Gallery" then "New Album" give the album a name and then hit "Create Album". You should be able to start uploading from there.

Good luck, hope to see some pics soon.

I have had trouble with posting as well and here is what I found with the BB Code

When you copy the BB Code from the gallery and paste it into a post you have to delete the(img) at the front of the BB Code and the (/img) at the end of the BB Code and then it will work. Not sure why or if it's fixable but it is annoying and took a bit to figure out what was going on.

Thats because you are using the image button in the post editor. You don't need to use that, just copy and paste directly from the gallery to the post.

Sunny Thanks for that. I did a "dry" run and it looks like that does the trick. However, when I try to load a "raw" pic it appears the file is so large it could take days to load. What size are you loading? Also is there a way of loading more than one pic at a time?

Most of my pics are 1.5-2 MB, pretty sure i had to resize them to a smaller size before the gallery would let me upload them. Can't remember how small i resized them. I defer to DD for the rest of your questions.

I use Windows Paint. After loading a picture, I choose the menu item, Image: Stretch/Skew. I make sure that I stretch (shrink) the length and width by the same percentage, then re4-save the picture.

Hi DirtyDog,

I put a picture in my profile to display when I post. It is within the size limitations, but it doesn't show up when I post. What have I done wrong?

leadsled,
I have had the same problem since being here but I find when I open with another browser and then close both it works.

E.g. Open with Firefox and change avatar. Close Firefox and open Internet Explorer and check to see if the avatar took. Get pissed off because nothings working and close Explorer. Go get a shot of Hornitos and think of all the foul words you can. Re-open Firefox and it should be there. If not there repeat. Good luck. Pictures and avatars on this site have been the bane of my existence. Now with you having the same issue at least I'm in good company.
