SOLD

Near Port Townsend, WA

Picking up my new Fleet soon, and so my Eagle must go to a new home. Originally purchased with a roll-over bench seat, installed by FWC on the wrong side of the camper. The electrical system was also hardwired to just the lights.

Shortened the rollover bench so it would not block the door and reinstalled it on the right (window) side. Built custom cabinets with unique foldout table include sink, water pump, and five-gallon water tank. Due to FWC's less than helpful wiring, set up a separate electrical system for the water and Goal Zero battery/inverter. It's a simple setup designed to keep it light.

Ideal camper for someone upgrading from tent camping or looking to do their on mods. Camper has had a few bumps and bruises over the years. Has new front bumpers, enhanced skid pads on the bottom, new solar panel, house battery, battery selector, and stove. Also comes with Thule roof tracks (but no racks). Canvas is in great shape and cushion covers almost like new. Entire electrical system is now tied together via three-way switch to house battery and/or standard camper-to-truck connection.
Price: $11,000 or best offer. Options: Jack stands for $800, Gen 2 Tacoma bed brackets are $300. Note that the Eagle is designed for six-foot beds. Use on shorter beds on four-door trucks is not recommended. Send me a message if you're interested and have questions.

You might have to put a 2"or so spacer under the camper to clear the bed rails.

I have a Bobcat (basically) same depth as Eagle on a 02 Tundra AC cab.

No spacer needed bed depth is shallower then a double cab.

Thanks for the feedback.  I am new to this truck/camper business.  Does the spacer change the way the camper rides on the truck?

I don't think so.A lot of owners need to raise their camper a few inches to clear the bed rails.

This camper you are looking at ,the FWC Eagle will need a platform to fit in your Tundra DC.

Like a "wood pallet". That would lift it enough to fit into your Tundra DC

When campers from older trucks with 17" deep beds are changed to newer ones with deeper beds

a platform of some kind is needed to raise the camper so the overhang will clear the top of the bed rails.

Case in point I have a ATC Bobcat it's 19" from the bottom floor pack to the overhang.

If I were to use that camper in a say Tundra Double cab I would need to use a platform to lift it higher.

As you search for campers make sure you get the measurement from the floor pack to overhang,

to make sure it fits the truck you have.

Interested especially since it's the narrower Eagle shell with some fine looking additions... I'll shoot you a PM for some more details!

Hi I'm in Missoula, MT and looking for a shell just like this for my 96 Ford F-250 4X4.  Is this still available?  Thanks, Dave
