We booked a mid-week trip to Northern Indiana in April.  A very big mistake.  Click on the link below.

It can be a trade off. We went to Glacier in late June 3 years ago for two weeks. Camped at Lake Kintla for 10 days. On the plus side -- we had no problem getting a campsite. On the down side it rained and stormed nearly every day we were there. Brought our kayaks, but only got them in the water one day. Did get lots of wet, flowery hikes in though.

One just can't second guess mother nature.

Why is the "9" backwards?

At least there weren't many crowds.

Thanks for the post.

You made a fine call, it has been a marginal and far from typical spring all through the mid-west.  I hope you have great adventures with your new trailer.
